1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FocusBae website, products, and services ("Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Accounts & Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

FocusBae offers different subscription plans (Free, Pro, Team). Pricing is expressed in INR and billed as described on the pricing page. By subscribing you authorize us to charge the payment method you provide. You are responsible for all taxes and fees associated with your subscription.

4. Free Plan

The Free plan is provided at no cost and includes a limited set of features. FocusBae may change or discontinue the Free plan at any time without liability.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service. Prohibited activities include interfering with the Service, scraping data, distributing malware, and infringing others' rights.

6. Third-Party Integrations (Google Calendar & Meeting Companion)

FocusBae lets you optionally connect Google Calendar to display upcoming Google Meet events, and to invite our meeting bot into your Meet calls to produce transcripts, summaries, and action items.

• You may only connect Google accounts you are authorized to use, and may only invite the FocusBae bot into meetings you are entitled to record.
• You are solely responsible for complying with recording and consent laws in your jurisdiction and for informing other meeting participants when the FocusBae bot is present. The bot appears as a visible participant so attendees are on notice.
• FocusBae's use of data received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Details on what data is accessed and how it is used are in our Privacy Policy.
• You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from Settings, which immediately deletes the stored refresh token.

7. Intellectual Property

FocusBae and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including all software, content, and trademarks. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

8. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your data. By using the Service you agree to that policy.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or for other legitimate business reasons. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and you should export any data you wish to keep.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, FocusBae disclaims all warranties and will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
