Getting started is easy! First, download the macOS app from our website. Then create a free account, and the app will guide you through the initial setup. You'll start tracking your productivity immediately, and can upgrade to Pro anytime for advanced features.

You can try basic features locally, but creating an account unlocks cloud sync, AI chat, personalized reminders, and cross-device access. The free account includes 2K token limit and basic tracking features.

Just Ask mode provides quick answers with live web search - perfect for getting current information without opening your browser. Agent mode includes MCP tool integration for advanced automation workflows and custom tool usage.

FocusBae runs quietly in the background and tracks which apps you use and for how long. It monitors your activity patterns to provide insights and trigger wellness reminders at the right moments. All tracking happens locally first, then syncs to cloud with your permission.

Absolutely! Pro users can customize reminder frequency, types, and even personas (friendly coach, professional mentor, etc.). The AI learns your patterns and provides contextual reminders when you need them most.

The clipboard manager automatically saves everything you copy with global keyboard shortcuts for quick access. It stores history locally and can sync to cloud. You can search through your clipboard history and never lose important text again.

MCP (Multi-Component Protocol) tools allow advanced automation and integration with external services. Available in Agent mode for Pro users, you can configure custom JSON tools through the settings page to extend FocusBae's capabilities.

The free plan includes basic app usage tracking, standard wellness reminders, smart clipboard manager, 7-day data retention, 2K tokens/day, and Just Ask mode with web search.

Pro costs ₹399/month and includes everything in Free plus: advanced analytics, personalized LLM reminders, 30-day data retention, 25K tokens/day, Agent mode with MCP tools, CSV export, and custom reminder personas.

Yes! Pro includes a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. You can experience all Pro features and cancel anytime. After the trial, you'll be charged ₹399/month until you cancel.

Absolutely. You can cancel your Pro subscription anytime from your account settings. You'll continue to have access to Pro features until your current billing period ends, then you'll automatically move to the free plan.

Yes, we offer full refunds within 7 days of purchase, no questions asked. Contact support@focusbae.com with your request. Refunds are processed through Razorpay and typically take 5-7 business days.

Yes! We use end-to-end encryption for sensitive data, JWT authentication, and HTTPS for all communications. Most data is stored locally on your device first. We never sell your data and only collect what's necessary to provide our service.

We collect app usage patterns, clipboard history (locally), chat messages for AI improvement, and basic account info. We DON'T collect file contents, screenshots, keystrokes, or personal documents. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Yes! You can export your data in CSV format anytime from settings. You can also permanently delete your account and all associated data. Data deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Data is primarily stored locally on your device. Cloud backups are stored on secure servers with encryption at rest. Data retention varies by plan: 7 days (Free), 30 days (Pro), 90 days (Team).

First, make sure you're running macOS 10.14 or later. If the app won't open, try right-clicking and selecting 'Open' to bypass Gatekeeper. You may also need to allow the app in System Preferences > Security & Privacy.

Make sure you've granted FocusBae accessibility permissions in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Accessibility. The app needs these permissions to track your app usage for productivity insights.

FocusBae auto-updates in the background. You'll see a notification when an update is available. You can also check for updates manually from the app menu or download the latest version from our website.

Yes! With a FocusBae account, your data syncs across all your devices. Just log in with the same account on each device. Note that currently we only support macOS, but other platforms are coming soon.

Check your internet connection first. If you're on the free plan, you might have reached your daily limit of 5 messages. Pro users have unlimited messages. If issues persist, try logging out and back in, or contact support.

Go to FocusBae Settings > Shortcuts to customize your global shortcuts for clipboard access, quick chat, and other features. Make sure the shortcuts don't conflict with other apps you're using.
